OCCUPATION: A surveyor, Nathaniel became Overseer of Gloucester Couunty Highways

ACREAGE: He owned 200 acres on the north branch of Great Mantua Creek.

CHEW'S LANDING, NJ:
Jeremiah Chew (1725-1782) a nephew of Nathaniel, founded the town of Chew's Landing, N.J. on Big Timber Creek.
